How does DB Pilot AI help me?
It writes SQL from natural-language instructions, explains queries, debugs errors via 'Fix with AI', and converts between SQL and code. Inline AI and @-mentions let you get help without leaving the editor.
Can I try the AI assistant before I buy?
Yes. You can send 20 AI messages before buying, and you supply your own API keys for providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google AI.
Which operating systems are supported?
DB Pilot currently supports macOS (Apple silicon and Intel). Linux and Windows support is listed as coming soon.
Which databases are supported?
PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, MySQL, SQLite, chDB (local ClickHouse), and DuckDB, with more databases planned.
How is my data used and stored?
All app data, including connection credentials (passwords stored in the OS keychain), stays on the user's computer. DB Pilot does not store database data on its servers.
